It is me again

In the TC builds before the official version 2.3 it was possible to access the last played series directly by the series home screen.
Since the 2.3 release this seems no longer to be possible or at least only when an episode of a series has been watched only partialy.

Would it be possible to bring this behavior back independent of partialy watched episodes?
This feature was very useful to quickly access the last watched series.

And additionally it would be great, if it is possible to get rid of the "Latest added" section in the series view.
In my case, as I never use this section, it only wastes space on the series home screen.
