May I suggest to make the spinning CD a bit smaller? As in real life the CD is smaller as the case too ;-)
In fact it is 20 px smaller than the case - maybe it´s not well seen on the video with the bad frame rate...

Wow, that tool really rocks - I made a full screen HD recording, and it´s really smooth an crisp - and you have a lot of options to set for best movie quality - and it´s free ;)

A new skinlet example/test based on the full cd/case anim.

Note: I've got a new trick for getting around animation position problems so you can position/size the thing quite easily. Also anim timings are calculated and adjusted for screen location.

Would like to incorporate all this CD stuff including your new bits catavolt with options for the cd going up or right. It's a useful task to see how to structure the preprocessor.

Well, here´s an excerpt of what I´m using now in my PVHD skins.
The inside cover shows the texts for album, artist, current track and next track.
I wanted to put in the current playlist, but it is not supported in NowPlaying screens :(
(Would be nice to have a new property #Play.Current.Playlist).
Pls note that the x/y positions are for my skins ;)
THX again at @kiwijunglist and @Pog for their incredible ideas/work ;)

Nice idea I was thinking of doing something like this as well, maybe a track listing of the album on the back side... or you can use the artist image for the inner left cover, clearart for the inner right cover, and artist image with heavy darkening on the back with track listing.

Catavolt - can you post video?

Yes! It would be nice to have an upcoming set of songs on the now playing screen or as a home overlay.

In fact everything should be a property accessible to the skin designer.

looks good, i like the flipping overlays and the now playing overlay that slides up and down depending on whether there is another overlay underneath it.

I was thinking you could change your homescreen now playing video overlay to the following

Nice idea - how do I put the video in that TV? Long time ago I tried to rotate the video window a bit to show it perspectively, but didn´t work ;)
Maybe you could send me the code (and the BG) so I could implement it ;)
    THX in advance ;)
