The built-in movie player looses focus sometimes on playing DivX files with the 6.x DivX codec, where my remote stops working.

This is due to the DivX 6.x 'Menu Navigator'

    Disabling the:

    - 'Menu navigator always on top'
    - 'Enable menu navigator at startup'

settings, failed to work for me, the Menu Navigator still gets launched and takes away focus (sometimes) from the built-in movie player, so i'm unable to use the remote to pause/etc the movie via the remote, until I switch focus either by mouse, or ALT+TAB.

This problem can be fixed by using the option under 'General' to always keep Media Portal 'on top'.

Thanks to ronisle for figguring that one out for me, sometimes you just overlook the obvious.

Well, that fix didn't work for me. Disabled the icon and the toolbar, restarted and still MP loses focus. The only way for me as to revert to xvid.

Always on top is not very handy if you use the comp for other stuff to coz it completely blocks the system.
