    The plugin author was very busy with real life the last weeks. He announced that now he can work on his projects again...

    Nothing happens

    Hi y'all

    I've really tried to follow the guides but I still cannot get it to work properly. As shown in the image below, both Cyberlink dlls are registered properly.

    This is my Burner setting
    setup.JPG

    The Video tab is empty

    The first screen I get only one option (the same recorder presented 7 times)

    When I click on the Burn link when MP is running nothing happens. I check the mediaportal.log file and the following is displayed:
    ...
    2005-05-18 18:18:03 window:MediaPortal.GUI.TV.GUIRecordedTV deinit
    2005-05-18 18:18:03 texturemanager:CleanupThumbs()
    2005-05-18 18:18:03 window:MediaPortal.GUI.Home.HomeWindow init
    2005-05-18 18:18:26 window:MediaPortal.GUI.Home.HomeWindow deinit
    2005-05-18 18:18:26 texturemanager:CleanupThumbs()
    2005-05-18 18:18:26 window:MediaPortal.GUI.GUIBurner.GUIBurner init
    2005-05-18 18:18:26 window:MediaPortal.GUI.Home.HomeWindow init

    ...i.e. it seems to call a GUI and then goes directly back to HomeWindow..

    Any ideas on what to do?

    Regards

    Hmm, I'm afraid I am having the problem of the convertor saying it is converting, but then doing nothing at all...

    I made SURE all the files form the .bat are in the correct place (the cyberlink files in MP's dir, and the respective files in system32, and even manually registered the cyberlink files), but still have this issue, weird enough :\

    I also tried to remove the spaces from the filename, to no avail.

    Yes, I have a similar problem with the CVS from June 2nd.

    It looks like the dvr-ms to mpeg2 conversion is broken in the CVS releases?

    The last production release (v0.1.2.0) works fine, though....

    Hmmm, I deinstalled what I had now, reinstalled 0.1.2.0 and doesnt work, installed that 2nd June CVS, still no go.

    Weird, becuase as you said, it was working fine for me before as well.

    Guess I'll wait and see what the next release will do for me.

    You need to have 2 filters installed in the MediaPortal main folder and registered - the CyberLink Direct Show filters - CLDump.ax and MpgMux.ax.

    If you don't have these filters, you can get them from here.

    Do not install this package as you only need two files from the Zip archive. In the archive is a "Data1.cab" file. You can open it with an unzip/rar program, and extract the files CLDump.ax and MpgMux.ax to your MP main folder.

    Then you should register these filters using RadLight Filter Manager or regsvr32.exe.

    When that is all done, the DVR-MS to MPEG2 conversion should work for you... :D

    The link you provided is dead and I can't find these files anywhere, can someone help me find them??

    Hi,

    If I remember correctly MP already comes with these files (CLDump.ax & MpgMux.ax) nowadays? At least, I didn't have to get these files myself anymore for the Burner plugin (they were already in c:\windows\system32\) and both files are in the current CVS repository...

    Kind regards,
    Michel
