    @mm1352000,

    I don't know if this is just my machine or not but there are time when I restart the TVservice that my HDHomeRun Prime show's that it is not available and then there are times that all three are available. I stop the service and cleared all my log's and started and stop the service three times to get it to reproduce but sometimes it takes more than that. Here are my logs files since I cleared everything and a screen shot to show you.

    Changing channels is FAST! I have my Ceton ETH 6 tuner located downstairs, and I connect to it over wireless-N from my upstairs test computer. Changing channels takes about 1 second for HD channels. I'd equate the experience to "a smidge slower than changing channels with a (comcast) cable box, but a bit faster than changing channels with a (DirecTV) satellite box." Overall... very acceptable performance... in a less than ideal setup (over wireless instead of hard-wire).
    Thank you so much for posting! That's the exact setup I'd be using :) Nice to know it works so well.
    If you get a chance to try with more than one client watching HD over the wireless at the same time I'd appreciate hearing about it. I am wondering at what point the wireless will become saturated.

    - Only issue... I don't think my cablecard is decoding any of the channels that are not "in-the-clear." Essentially I can see the same channels I saw before. I expect this is a cable company issue and not related to the patch. Will write back later once resolved.

    Do you have Time Warner as your cable provider? If you do, you won't get many channels due to their DRM policy.

I am going to do a second scan and see if it finds more.[DOUBLEPOST=1373752750][/DOUBLEPOST]Second pass found 6 more channels. Anything else you would like tested, just ask....

    What that means is that your tuner hasn't been detected yet.
    As part of the CableCARD support I changed TV Server to detect tuner changes "on-the-fly". In other words, if you have a USB tuner and you unplug/replug it TV Server should detect the change without needing a restart as it did previously.
    It takes some time to (re)detect CableCARD tuners. Only a few seconds, but that can be enough to see the situation you reported. Particularly if you trigger the TV service to start by opening TV Server configuration.

    For example, detection times on your system:
    [2013-07-13 14:58:25,899] [Log ] [4 ] [DEBUG] - Setting up EventWaitHandle with name: Global\MPTVServiceInitializedEvent
    [2013-07-13 14:58:26,274] [Log ] [6 ] [INFO ] - TV service: Starting
    ...
    [2013-07-13 14:58:30,773] [Log ] [11 ] [INFO ] - Detected new OCUR/DRI device HDHomeRun Live DRI 1314B677

    [2013-07-13 14:58:59,468] [Log ] [12 ] [INFO ] - Controller: Initializing TVServer
    ...
    [2013-07-13 14:59:01,350] [Log ] [20 ] [INFO ] - Detected new OCUR/DRI device HDHomeRun Live DRI 1314B677

    I guess in the first case you opened TV Server configuration in that 5 second window, and because TV Server configuration doesn't update the tuner list until it is restarted...

    @breese
    Both of those scans are looking much better. (y)
    I'm happy that everything is working as intended at this point, so nothing more to test unless you or other people notice further issues.
    I'll update the patches in the first post in due course. Version will be 2.1. I will just wait a little as we're having some issues with the forum post editor wiping formatting...

    Right, first post updated with patch v2.1. The only changes are the fixes for ATSC and clear QAM scanning that breese and I have been dealing with. I've left v2.0 of the patch up for the moment as a just-in-case-I-messed-up version, but it will probably be removed at some point in the next week (once a few people have tried v2.1) to avoid confusion. :)

    Should I install the latest beta Drivers/Firmware for my C-iTV4? For testing of this patch Or just stick with stable until it is out of beta?

    Welcome home mate :)

    Completely up to you. The beta firmware update is absolutely necessary for PRIME owners - streaming won't work without it. For Ceton owners things should just work with existing firmware.
