yeah i have had my epg out for about 2 weeks now, i was hopping that it would be fixed 2 day but its not

i just had to do a reinstall of media portal, and now my epg for dvb-s is not grabing

I've also had the same problems with the epg, but it's certainly an issue at freeviews end because sky channels are grabbing the epg correctly and also one news is at 5pm on my set top box as well. I must say I am a bit dissapointed with freeview, I tried calling them and they are refusing to fix it till monday.

you can call freeview on 0800 FREEVIEW (0800 373384) or email freeviewadmin@freeviewnz.tv if you want them to fix it.

Yes my EPG from DVB-S is also out by one hour. The 6pm evening news is currently scheduled for a 5pm start!!!

We have had this before from TV1,2 and 3 for their DVB-S service and I guess its because they don't keep their eye's on the EPG server. Interestingly the SKY feed is good and their Prime feed is also Ok.

I recall we had the same problem late in March when NZ usually comes off Summer time. I guess the answer is to just refresh the EPG till it comes right - in the meantime if you have any recordings due tonight, plan to record the show following the one you want so that you are covered.

Datagrafx: I think you need to apply the BDA fix which has another version of the psisdecd.dll file and some special instructions to install it. Have a look here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ner-issue-channel-scan-crash-windows-xp-6344/

The EPG had the same problem last daylight savings, it's prolly Windows XP not MP or anything else. I think there was a separate thread about it last time and the patch to fix it has been updated for 2008.

Clear it, and then restart epg from whichever source you get it from.

How do you clear the EPG? (I'm running TV Server) - are we going to have this problem every 6 months? (when the clocks change)

In TVserver\Manual control click "Refresh EPG" Not sure the problem is corrected yet at freeview's end though

Mine's out by an hour too, but if you scroll through to next monday (14th April) you'll see that the time is right. My way around it is to set the computer's clock back 1 hour. This seems to work well and means I can schedule programmes normally. When next monday rolls around, I'll just set the time back to normal again.
