Yes, lots of people in the UK use those cards.

That's good to know, thanks. I've gone to a multi-seat environment so 2 tuners doesn't seem to cut it anymore. I've had my eye on one of those cards for a while. I'd bought a satellite card from www.buydvb.net back in the day and received good service so feel comfortable using them again.

    Not sure what DVB-T2 is??
It is the new DVB-T. Better, bigger, faster, stronger etc. Igloo uses DVB-T2... though you can't decrypt their channels even if you get a DVB-T2 capable tuner.

PCIe and dual tuner for DVB-T
    There are so many options.
    Hauppauge HVR-22**
Blackgold BGT3620 (or 3655 if you want 3 tuners, or 3650 if you want 4 tuners)
TBS6280/6281 (or 6284/6285 if you want 4 tuners)
    DVBSky T982
    AVerMedia AVerTV TwinStar PCI-E
Digital Devices Cine CT (or CT2, or C2T2)

    The list goes on...
Choose one that fits your budget and whatever other considerations you have.

Anyone done a logo file for "The Zone"?[DOUBLEPOST=1416103451][/DOUBLEPOST]

There is no need to replace the HVR-2200 though unless you are out of PCI slots. I've got one of those and also a Blackgold with 2 DVB-T tuners (+2x DVB-S tuners) so with 4 DVB-T tuners I can record or watch all the Freeview channels simultaneously if I wanted.

Yes, it's currently marked as unstable in MPEI so you need to either untick view/only stable in MPEI or download it here. Additionally, you'll need to replace the LogoManager.config file, found in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\, with this version which has NZ support.

So are there any other home theatre enthusiasts in Wellington?

If so, you might get in on some custom subwoofers I'm planning on building, if others get involved then it will be considerably easier and cheaper.

Why DIY? Well the subwoofer I like costs ~$2,500
    http://www.rapalloav.co.nz/svs-subwoofer-pc13-ultra.html
I can build 2 similar spec'd subwoofers for a lot cheaper.

    The costs involved are:
Amplifier - $420 / $560 (Depending on how many subs you build)
    Sonotube - ~$150
    Wood - ?$50-100
    Drivers - $76 - 119 per sub
    Ports - $25
    Misc Parts - $25

    2x ported 12" subwoofers would be ~$900
2x sealed 12" dual subwoofers (4 drivers) would be ~$950
    2x ported 15" subwoofers would be ~$1000
2x sealed 15" dual subwoofers (4 drivers) would be ~$1100

    This includes dsp/room eq.
