Fingers crossed this is it. Came to me in a flash of inspiration, when i was thinking what is the densest mistake I could of made?Seems likely ;-)the only thing here that i haven't tried is that I have somehow mixed up my LNB at 11300 when it should be 10750.
WDM=Network AdapterShould the SS2 cards appear as a network adaptor or video device in the hardware manager?
BDA=Audio/Video Device
If they both show as video devices then that's good
Hmm I did so many restores backwards and forwards I'll have to check what they currently are. I now have a restore point with both running BDA and a restore point both running WDM.
Not sure how wise it is relying on windows to keep everything "straight" using restore points but so far so good
I have also rolled back drivers so that I can use setup4TV.exe, which shows two satellite icons in the task bar now.These 2 situations are mutually exclusive.have them as video adaptors.
Yep definately will need to check this, probably me getting confused.
Showing where? In MediaPortal (No signal! when scanning)? Or in Setup4PC? Your devices show under multimedia, video,audio device which means you're running BDA which means you can forget about setup4PC and you should uninstall it and any other technisat software.Unfortunately I am now getting no signal into the computer
In setup4PC, see point above
Watch out for the deadly crash in WAF!

Oh and PS thanks for all your help.
