Ive got DVB-T working great in Wgtn off Kaukau. Switching between channels fine, probably a couple of seconds. Im using TVE3 SVN 17778 from memory, Hauppauge HVR2200.
Cheers

    has anyone got dvb-t working, i have all the channels working but i cant switch between them, when i switch between 2 dvb-t channels it crashes, so i have it set up that tv3 is my only dvb-t channel and all the rest are dvbs. although this is limiting with multi channel tuning in tv server.

    Hi, I've had a similar issue with dvb-t but my signal strength is very low. So low, that I get blocking/pixelation on the screen during bad weather. I'm in a poor UHF reception area. I'm going to upgrade (and hopefully raise) my aerial and see if this improves things. Sticking with dvb-s in the meantime.

    Check your BIOS for wake by USB and also check out the MCE standby tool. I hope I haven't set you wrong, I didn't realise S4 was hibernate I thought it was standby I use standby with the remote on my networked client and I run the server 24/7. I think S4 should work fine though, I just prefer standby as it's much faster to wake and only uses a few watts to keep the RAM alive :)

    Where abouts in the country are you? and do you know where your UHF aerial is pointing

    I.e. in Auckland is it pointing west to Waitarua or to the Sky Tower or towards Remuera

    Chances are TVServer doesnt have the right frequencies for the tower you are receiving from

    Cool, what you need to do is edit the file dvbt.xml (in notepad or wordpad). This file is in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\

    You need to add the frequencies for the Te Aroha tower, to do this copy and paste the below into the file at the bottom after the last </channel> line and before the </dvbt> line

    <country name="New Zealand - Te Aroha Waikato/Tauranga" offset="0">
    <carrier frequency="674000" bandwidth="8" />
    <carrier frequency="690000" bandwidth="8" />
    <carrier frequency="706000" bandwidth="8" />
    </country>

    Save the file and reload TV Server configuration and go back to scan. There should now be an option (probably at the bottom of the list) for New Zealand - Te Aroha Waikato/Tauranga

    cranz, I just got a DVB-T card also, but am having the same problem as DrLurch.

    I can scan, but only pick up two radio stations with the card but it's all good in PowerCinema... I've checked all the frequency settings and the latest snapshot has them all correct.

    Are there any tips on what i should do to get it going in MP rather than using PowerCinema to see what freeview is going to be like on MP?
