I'm currently installing my New HTPC - unfortunately it seems as if the CAM Support for 1.2.0 is not here for now - when I check the logs for ORF I see

So - is there any workaround for this - the Patch from morpheus is only supporting 1.1.3 for my understanding. Any Help is very welcome :)

    Hello,

    Same issue here (i guess).
    tv.log included.

If i remove the CAM, i can scan all channels, but offcourse can preview only FTA.
If i insert the CAM (with smartcard), i can't find any channels.
CI-menu works! decryption is set to Tuner1 only, but that doesn't i-even matter.
Cannot find any channels on Tiuner2 either, CAM in or out, decryption selected or not.
Only included log for scan with or without CAM (not a complete scan, but result is the same).

    CAM is tv-vlaanderen SMAR-DTV - mediaguard.
tomorow i will swap this with a astoncrypt.

    Hi folks

It seems to me like you have different problems.

pur_berger: have you enabled the CAM for the tuner in the tuner settings (see the section "edit card properties" in our wiki -->here<--).

krisverheyen: it seems like the SDT is not being received for the transponders that you tried to scan on the second tuner. Probably the same thing is happening when you insert the CAM. Is there a reason why you're using the DVB-S network provider instead of the generic one?

    Hi mm,

The reason i tried dvbs is because i tried both generic and dvbs.
Should have set it back for the logs provided.
You can probably see in the log that there were 2 channel scans.
They were both on Tuner 1, where one is with CAM and the other without.

I'll be out for another CAM, my sat-dealer allows me to swap my other.
I think the problem is that the smrdtv is not compatible with DD.
    Let's hope Astoncrypt does.

    Let you know what happens.

    Thank you,
    Kris

    Okay, no worries.

Yes, I see that. At least for channel scanning it looks like the CAM is simply blocking the SDT PID. It could be a driver bug - easy for Digital Devices engineers to fix. Have you contacted them?

    Let you know what happens.
    Yes, please do. :)

    Best regards,
    mm

    Hello All,

I just got back from my local sat dealer.
He just lend me a bunch of CAM's, matrix CAMS but also an astoncrypt.

I put in the astoncrypt, tuned to a scrambled channel, et voila, we've got video and sound!
I hope the duration-tests keep it up :)
Took a brief test on the matrix CAMS, no image yet. I'll probably try them later.

First i'm gonna try to set up everything like i planned to do about 2 years ago.
(yes, i've tried for 2 years, in the free time that i have (not a lot of free time tough :))

In case anyone (with or without tv-vlaanderen) is interested,
    from the CAM menu (dutch):
    Bediening versie: 1.0300B
    Hardware versie: 1.000
    Cicas versie: 1.0002
    Boot versie: 1.0300
    CA versie: Aston 2.0r1

...mmh feel good right now, hope it stays that way (got mft delayed write failed on my whs...)

    Regards,
    Kris

btw mm: i'll pass on your comments to digital devices.
    :D
