Hi, I'm in the US using OTA with schedules direct.
I recently had to rebuild my Mediaportal system and I thought before I was able to display channel numbers 2.1, 2.2 etc. in the guide.

Can't figure out how I did this. I see a format setting in the Schedules direct plugin which does not seem to do anything and the mediaportal config has a "display channel numbers" but this is not the X.X format.

Could also be that I'm confused and never had this format.

MP doesn't support channel numbers in the format X.Y. If you had it working before, I'm guessing you must have created the illusion of having it working by prefixing each of the channel names with the channel number in the X.Y format. If I recall correctly the SD plugin has a relevant setting for that. As usual with the SD plugin, changing a setting relating to channels requires you to delete all the channels, enable the "force guide update..." option, restart the TV service, then wait a few minutes for the change to take effect.
