Can I configure Mediaportal to play interlude music? (1 Viewer)

I posted something a while ago and no one seemed to respond so here goes again. Mediaportal is older and maybe now can do this.

Hello everyone. While I use media portal for watching movies and TV series that I have stored on my network. I wanted to know if there is a way to have music (either from my system or streamed from the net say through last.fm or other source) automatically play while I am switching between things or if I stop what I am watching. Kind of interlude music?

https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/music/one-button-music will play random music from your local collection at the press of a button but there is no way of doing this without a button press as far as I know
