I checked here https://github.com/ARGUS-TV/ARGUS-TV/search?p=1&q=EpisodeNumberDisplay&utf8=✓ for references to the questionable EpisodeNumberDisplay. All are simply using this value for the actual display in the GUI.

As it is not touched otherwise it means to me that the value has to be correct this way.

I also found another code "Argus TV Guide Enricher" which does also use the common SxxEyy pattern: https://github.com/ChrisRichner/ARG...ob/master/GuideEnricher/Enricher.cs#L199-L202

Can you check this behavior for other recordings please? Our could your example be just an error in EPG data?

I am 100 % sure it is episode.season on all recordings as default. See picture for default settings=the settings I use. The "Longtitle" gives this result
See also attached another example, the series elementary has not reached 22 seasons yet.
The name on the .ts file (including the episode.season) is the same as on the .arg file (which only exists after export).

Thank you. I still find this very confusing what the Argus dev made here. I will swap the components and include the support into the next Weekly build

Andcar, how do you get the EPG? If it is imported xml then please post the xml file to exclude the possibility of an EPG error, Argus reads the xmltv_ns season/episode data. The reason I ask is that I have no issue whatsoever with the Argus season/episode.

I contains the support for importing argus recordings into the media library, but it still uses the original series/episode layout.
