The higher the quality and smaller the container you have to squash it into, the harder a processor has to work. Signal from analog tuners without hardware encoders get encoded to MPEG 2 in real time by TV Server (well, an encoder supervised by TV Server). On my 2.4 GHz Core 2 that takes between ~15% and ~40% CPU. Doesn't look that great though it is proof it can be done...mm</blockquote>
