    Hello everyone,

I store my tv shows with the title and if it starts with the word the at the back. For example The girls next door = girls next door, the.

When I import it won't auto approve the title and I have to manually do it. How would I fix this? Thanks.

Add a string replacement for ", The" to <empty> and check the "before" checkbox. This will adjust your titles and remove that part from it before it tries to find a match at TheTVdB. Since their search engine is capable of still finding "The Girls Next Door" show even if you had used "next".

This just means it would have shown a lot more shows as odds of them also containing 'next' is larger, so risk of manual approval needed then if you strip too much, meaning if you have a show "The Next", as "Next, The" folder, it will then still not auto-approve because "The Girls Next Door" show is then also a possible candidate. A solution to that would be adding a string replacement of "Next, The" -> "The Next", which you can also apply to all the other shows, but needs more entries then and odds are you won't run into that situation a lot.

    Enjoy.

Well string replacements can now be regex, and I think regex is capable of turing blabla, the into the blabla somehow, so it should be possible I think. I'm not really sure though.
