I have Nvidia 7600GS which is supposed to have hardware acceleration for H264 content but when I play H264 content my dual core CPU overusing one of CPUs (100%) and not using the other one which I assume problem with FFdshow decode which is not multithreaded. I have PureVideo installed but it's not being launched when I start playing H264 files. Am I doing something wrong or how can I make H264 decoding work smooth on my PC?
I tried to use CoreAVC codec and it works but it minimizes MP to tray for whatever reason.
