Thanks for the info it's a shame cause this hardware is great and works perfectly with Meedio...! So I know the hw is ok and can be used has an HTPC. I can't replace the video card it's onboard and both PCI slots are used.

So Can I had overlay some how ?

You may want to try version 0.1.3.0, 0.2 RC1 or RC2 with an CVS until somewhere the beginning of January.
After that, overlay was removed, though for good reasons (hindering further development a.o.). Overlay is also called VMR7 if I remember correct.

you can only try an older version of MP as suggested. Overlay will never come back again.

So why is DVD/Traillers Playback work ?

Hi All.

I'm a just wordering why is DVD/Trailers playback/rendering work and not SVCD/Xvid won't
SVCD is mpeg2 ans it uses the same codec as DVD Corrent ? I can understand problems with xvid but it plays back in any media player I've tested so far...!

It sure seem to me it's more a Media Protal problem them a driver problem.
I've tests Meedio / SageTV GotTV and they all work fine
