Can please some decent, responsible and all person tell me how to set EPG for UK ? (1 Viewer)

EPG for encrypted and some other channels is working

but not for most freeview like BBC news and all others channel 4 itv film 4 etc it says no info available,

I tried different plugins and cant make it work

the original plugin or whatever it is called that come with tv server it doesnt work either

Can please someone tell me simple way of setting up EPG for UK if possible all channels i know theres someway of using some plugin and use epg from SKY and i tried it but it was made for old ver of MP and it said it doesnt work with windows 8

Hi Emma,

There are two Sky EPG plugins by two seperate devs, one is by DJBlu and is very comprehensive and does more than just populate the EPG. The other is by Miroslav and is just a Sky EPG grabber - both version have the series link option. I have used both, and both work well, however the DJBlu version is still actively developed for different versions of MP by DJBlu.

As for it running on Windows 8 I cannot say - I use Win7 for all my clients, and for me, I am of the opinion that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. You could post the Win 8 compatibility question on the thread above, and hopefully others with more knowledge than I will be able to answer.

thanks porky. I have fixed it already someone from Irc has helped me. it tool while and wasnt so easy but working now
