I have posted recently with a TV Server error - see here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/tv_server_crashes_while_watching_tv-t32399.html

I appear to have stopped the ".NET 2.0 Runtime Error" (Event ID Error 1000) mentioned in this previous post by installing the M$ fix "User Profile Hive Cleanup Service" - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...6D-8912-4E18-B570-42470E2F3582&displaylang=en

But... I still have the problem that TV Server stoppes for no reason when watch scrambled TV channels (viewed via a TechnoTrend S-1500 CI). The error I get in the TV_Server Log files straight after TV Server "crashes" is:

2007-12-17 07:20:41.250000 [MPMain]: RemoteControl: Error getting server Instance - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

If anyone can help work out what this error message means I'd be very grateful.

The SQL is definitely running both before and after TV Server stops (I've tried both MySQL and MSSQL). The only error that appears in the Event Viewer is:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7034
Date: 16/12/2007
Time: 10:55:26 p.m.
User: N/A
Computer: MEDIA
Description:
The TVService service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I've attached the log files that appeared in the TV Server logs straight after one of these crashes.

Cheers
Rich
