Yes to both of ur questions!

But there is a "but" ;) You can only watch and record at the same time if channels are on the same MUX/transponder when using one TV-card (this applies for the TV-server).

The card seems to be both analog and digital.

    thanks heaps you little beauty!

I'm still a little confused how to get analog working?

    also what is this ''MUX/transponder''

I'm also wondering if I can use mediamonkey plugin = instead of itunes/foobar/winamp.

    Cheers

Do you think the analog part is the other plug? do I need a splitter?

I think I understand about the 4 channels of dvb-t - so does that apply for analog and digital together?
    this is really interesting stuff.

As it says on the back of the card ;) :D

One plug is for antenna in, and one is for antenna out. No need for a splitter. Analog channels are different from digital, you cannot watch one analog and record another analog with your card, but you can watch one analog, and record one (or several, if on same MUX) digital.

    Okay cool.

So I can watch analog and digital at the same time on two different channels? through the 1 plug at the back? (newb alert)

Ignore that - I read your post above properly.... ;(

So do I setup analog channels in tv server?
How do I set this up?

Regarding splitter, what is ur analog and digital frequency's? Maybe u need a separate antennas for it?

I don't know much about analog cards, but it should show up in TV-server config together with digital.

yeah I can see 2 things in the tv servers config.

DVB-T Fusion BDA (the one that works digital)
Analog fusion NTSC/ATSC WDM (this one crashes when I scan for tv channels)

"setuptv has encountered a problem and needs to close....."

Hello. I'm 28 from Italy and I use Mediaportal to record videos which I then have to process with another software that only recognize recordings with MPEG video and audio tracks. I don't think that it is clear that you need to upgrade . I used WMC for six years, and have been using MP1 for another six years. I migrated from WMC to MP because it offered more of what I wanted, and less of what I didn't want. But if you are comfortable with WMC, the obvious choice is to stay with WMC on Windows 7. The...

Sorry for the late response. In my experience, the EPG grabbing of a single transponder takes 2 to 3 minutes. Afterwards it takes 1 to 2 minutes to write the data to disk. To speed up the EPG stuff (not only writing but also reading the EPG guide in MediaPortal), I changed the program table (and only that table) from InnoDB to...

Having used MP1 since 15 years, these epg related problems occuring after a fresh install stumble me. Needed to change a system hdd and decided it was time for a clean install anyway. Other hardware (C2D, 8 Gb ram, no tv cards - IP only) unchanged. Was running an earlier Win10 version with MP 1.24 which had been updated for years...
