Can you record TV while watching a Video? (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to record TV without watching it ? or record it while watching a video?

I have a fusion hdtv DVB-T pro.
Geforce 7600GS
1gb Ram
3ghz pentium

P.S. CAn this card watch Analog TV and record digital?

Yes to both of ur questions!

But there is a "but" You can only watch and record at the same time if channels are on the same MUX/transponder when using one TV-card (this applies for the TV-server).

The card seems to be both analog and digital.

Yes the recording can happen in the background. You can watch a video, listen to music or even exit mediaportal (if you use the tv server) and it will still record the programs!

As it says on the back of the card

One plug is for antenna in, and one is for antenna out. No need for a splitter. Analog channels are different from digital, you cannot watch one analog and record another analog with your card, but you can watch one analog, and record one (or several, if on same MUX) digital.

Regarding splitter, what is ur analog and digital frequency's? Maybe u need a separate antennas for it?

I don't know much about analog cards, but it should show up in TV-server config together with digital.

yeah I can see 2 things in the tv servers config.

DVB-T Fusion BDA (the one that works digital)
Analog fusion NTSC/ATSC WDM (this one crashes when I scan for tv channels)
