hello community!

media portal version rc2 (all cvs builds) can´t play SVCDs from harddisk anymore. tested different settings like video renderer vmr7/vmr9 renderless or different codecs like dscaler, powerdvd decoder. daemon tools mounting the SVCD (*.cue file) image without any problem. can access/view the directory structure from the SVCD image (ext, mpeg2, svcd).
can see the mpeg2 file called: AVSEQ01 (as example)

when I try start/accessing the mpg2 file, my harddisk led lights up for 1 second and nothing happend. no video! media portal rc1 playing all SVCDs without any problem. test it on two different computers and got the same problem on each maschine.

please help! got the community any ideas or suggestions?

I am also receiving the same thing. When I click on a SVCD all I get is 4 directories with nothing in them.

    Same here.

I have configured DaemonTools in the MediaPortal setup utility. However, when I try to open a BIN file in Mediaportal, I get a series of DaemonTools confirmation dialog boxes. When I've clicked OK through these, I get the four empty folders, as ASiDiE said.

    GeForce Ti4200 128 MB VIVO
    Hercules GameSurround Fortissimo II Soundcard

As a work around I have added the extention .bin file and then go into the directory that has that file and click on it. I don't think this is how it is supposed to work, but its a work around for now.
