Since MP1.33 you have to start the TV service as an administrator. I only recently found this out too

Your post made me take a look around and surprisingly I notice the TV Server is x86, yet part of the release notes for 1.33 advises that the TV Server is x64. I tried stopping and looked around for another .exe but that is the only one and I cannot run that as Administrator. Thanks for your help.

What SQL server is installed and what version?
    Hi ajs
    C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6

I just replied to another post because I notice that the TV Service is x86. Is this correct?
I ask because the release notes mention that the TV Server should be x64 on 1.33

As far as I know, 2 versions of TV Server cannot be installed in parallel, only x64 or x86, if there was an update, then the server that was there remains. But here it is better to ask in the relevant topic.

    Hi,
    my answers to your questions:
I use MariaDB 10.5 and Mediaportal 1.33 x86 as a user, not an administrator.
MP. When I start Mediaportal, no TV service appears to have started.
If I start Mediaportal as administrator everything is ok.
Starting the TV service separately is only possible as an administrator.
If I then start Mediaportal as a user, everything is ok. TV service was started beforehand.
