Cannot detect Sweetspot capture card (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I'm trying to migrate from showshifter to mediaportal, however I'm having trouble getting to first base with MediaPortal and my sweetspot capture card. Both showshifter and dscaler are working.

When running the setup to detect capture cards I just get
"No video capture card(s) were found, you won't be able to configure a capture card"

Any suggestions?

I looked at that thread, but to request support, I need to provide the software MPEG 2 encoders that were provided with my card.

Erm... The only thing that comes with the sweetspot is WDM drivers and dscaler.

Are there any other RGB capture cards that work with MP? I don't really need a tuner, as I'm capturing from a Sky box.

I only know of Sweetspot when it comes to RGB-capture devices. For help, I suggest you contact D-Man. PS: DScaler codecs is installed with MP, I belive.
