Unfortunately I am having some further problems relating to TV...
TV is VERY unstable for a couple of reasons, I believe they may be related...
DGindex crashes randomly when TVserver is running. I cant find any way to uninstall or work around this, but it crashes a fair bit. This is with or without the MP client running or recordings happening.
The second problem is that sometimes it wont start TV saying 'unable to start graph' but other times it works fine. Generally this is after stability problems, freezing, etc.
Third problem is that about half the time the audio is out of sync, and gets worse and worse as you watch (after about 3 mins its upto 20 seconds out of sync bad). This is usually after a DGindex crash.
I believe all 3 are related to dgindex myself, it crashes causing problems. However I cant find any way to fix or work around this.
Currently using ffdshow codecs for everything codec wise.
I have not found a way to remove dgindex (looks to be a TS stream splitter). I think it came when I installed Haali splitter ages ago, however even a re-install and uninstall of it doesn't work to get rid of it.
