Hi, Im wanting to try Media Portal because it seems to have all the features I want Vista Media Centre to have. Ive been running VMC stabily for ~6 months on the current setup. The problem is I cant get TV to display through MP, and if that doesn't work then I cant use it at all. I have: 1. Installed Media Portal 0.2.3.0 2. Install the MP SVN build above 3. Install SQL express and other pre-reqs 4. Install latest (same version as MP) TVE3 Server/Client 5. Configured SQL database (all OK) 6. Ran the TV server config and scanned channels (found them all) and tried the IPv6 and IPv4 of my NIC as the master server 7. Configured MP to the same hostname or IP, tried both ways. When I fire up MP, the same problem has occurred no matter what Ive tried. I goto My TV, it sees all the channels (EPG data slowly fills if I leave it there too), but I try to watch any, it pauses for about 10 seconds, and goes back the the menu. NOTHING I have tried has gotten TV to display through media portal. I have tried using the FFDshow and Microsoft MPEG codecs for both audio and video, no luck... I do have a few VMC plugins, webguide, MCEbuddy, etc. loaded. Unless there is a known problem please dont ask me to uninstall them as I need VMC running properly until I can fully test MP. If you need more information let me know, MP seems to have all I want, but the TV setup is driving me crazy, Ive spent about 4 hours on it so far with no luck. [/QUOTE]
