Cannot load MP (1 Viewer)

Hope you can help. MP 1.5 has been taking a long time to load recently and then, last night, it did not make it! Every time I tried to restart it, after reboots, it just hung at the point wherte it says 'starting windows plugins' and then after several minutes gave me the standard Windows message saying that there was an error and the program had to close.
I tried reinstalling 1.5 MP (only) and then completely uninstalled everything and reloaded (MP plus TV Server). After the same thing happaened I repaired .net4 and installed 1.6 pre release from scratch. I am still getting the same problem.
I am not very good with logs but I notice that there was a message about 'out of memory'. I also notice that there are a v large number of entries about closing database.
I am begining to wonder whether this is a Windows or hardware problem?

I'd run a repair on your database first.

CD C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin
mysqlcheck mptvdb --auto-repair -e -u root -p

when asked password = "MediaPortal"

Change the server version number to whatever is relevant for your setup.

Hi,

your log shows: SQLiteClient: Closing database: movingpictures.db3

It seems the movingpictures database is corrupt. Find a solution in the forum to resolve it.
