Cannot open after the installation (1 Viewer)

Hey there...

I have just installed the last stable, and I have never tried MediaPortal before...

One of my friends have and he told me it works excellent..

So I installed and configured it, and when I try to open, the splashscreens comes,
and it initialize the plugins and so, then the splash disapears, and nothing happens.

When I look in taskmgr.exe, it tells me that MediaPortal.exe, is running, but it is not on my screen...

Can anyone helps me?

Hi, I am having exactally the same problem.
Does anyone know what is causing this??
Also, when you click etc after the splash goes and you are left with the blank background the PC makes a strange tapping noise.

Any help is appreciated.

Fixed my problem. Increased the size of my page file, helped. Them added some more RAM and reduced the size of the page file again. No more problems!

Strange tapping sound was actually the sound the interface makes when changing menu items etc.

Best way to get an answer it's to post your system specs & what version of MP you use + attach your logs ("installation folder"\MediaPortal\log) to your post.
