Hello All,

For some reason i have been unable to play any DVDs through MediaPortal, Once i insert a dvd i receive the error message "Unable to Play Disc Did you insert a Disc?" my answer of course is Yes i have! this started one night when i had started a a dvd for the first time and left it in the dvd menu while i made a coffee and came back and stopped the dvd then went to start it again and ever since then i get the above error message. Ive tried reinstalling all codecs and tried using a different dvd navigator but no luck, could some one please help as this is frustrating since i have to exit mediaportal to watch a dvd.

I have also included a rar file of my logs:

What DVD navigator filter you have selected in the DVD playback codec configuration? Seems like something has failed when calling Dvd.IDvdControl2.SetSubpictureState

    Code:
    2008-07-01 19:09:06.000000 [Info.][MPMain]: DVDPlayer:Set default subtitle language:English 1033 Success.

I've tried With Windows Media Player and hapends the same. Video Lan Ok.

Seems to be a problem with copyright protection of some original DVDs. ie, Cars (disney) in Spanish edition.

I have my Panasonic Plasma TV conencted thought Component Video and 720p. If I connect using Vga cable and 1024x768 computer resolution dvd's are played ok.

mediaportal.xml may be the issue, it is found here C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Rename to mediaportalold and then run config again, be aware there is a navigation issue with RC1 which is fixed in current svn, or forthcoming RC2 release.

    Regards
