Cannot play DVR-MS files (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I just installed the latest version of MediaPortal on an old laptop in order to use it as a single player on my Bedroom. I just want to stream video files from my LAN and play the DVR-MS recordings (non protected or flagged) from my main MCE 2005 machine.

Every video file is playing perfectly but i cannot play the DVR-MS recordings. i see them but when i click on play nothing happens...i have ffdshow tryout installed and i tried to change de default video decoding but again nothing happens. The file plays ok from windows media player.

I tried to search the forums but i find old posts from older versions of media portal.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Windows Version: XP PRO SP3 fully updated

I also have the same problem. There is a option in MediaPortal to compress DVR-MS to MPEG files but thats only for recorded files.

Can someone please give something on this...
Do you guys know about the problem ? is there something that we can do ? maybe install a previous version or something ?

MP0.2.3.0 should play dvr-ms files fine, remember newer skins may show error.

As MP now uses ts\mpeg as format for recording, no support will go into getting dvr-ms working within newer releases.

I installed the 0.2.3.0 version but nothing...
do i need to change anything on the decoders ?? something that i'm missing ??
