cannot play .mov and .mp4 videos (1 Viewer)

i cannot play mov and mp4 videos in mediaportal. i am usin ffdshow codec. both videos can be played in windows media player.

please help

Hi kobajz. Please provide us with logs to know what is going on. No logs -> just guesswork. Check the sticky post on How To post for support (or check the link in my footer) on how to get the logs (Start/Team MP/Debug).

Looks like you need a 'splitter' filter that understands .mov and .mp4 files - try LAV Splitter | 1f0.de – open-source in a closed world
