Cannot play *.ts files recorded by a Dreambox (1 Viewer)

Windows Mediaplayer as well as VLC can play these files for me but Mediaportal player won't play them. Are there any instructions available anywhere on how to get this working?
I have searched the forum and manual without any success.

Hi,

VLC can play anything ;-)

You may need a Codec (maybe from Power DVD) and choose it in the MP Setup under Video.

If you are using the MyDreambox Plugin, and the filenames are non english (german Umlaüte for example) They won't play because (I suspect) the HTTP Submit is not being reformated.
