Hey all, I'm having problems playing videos in RC3. I had no problem with RC2, but now that the only choice I have is vmr9 it doesn't seem to work. Looking at the error log in the media portal log folder I get the following message: 4/15/2006 11:41:04 AM VideoPlayer9:exception while creating DShow graph Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {51B4ABF3-748F-4E3B-A276-C828330E926A} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80040273. at MediaPortal.Player.VMR9Util.AddVMR9(IGraphBuilder graphBuilder) at MediaPortal.Player.VideoPlayerVMR9.GetInterfaces() Looking it up on google isn't helping me understand it any better, so I thought I might try and ask for help here. I used the utility from the forum to gather my system stats: MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo Windows Version: Windows XP (SP2) .NET CLR Version: 2.0.50727 DirectX Version: 4.09.00.0904 (9.0c) Audio Codec: ffdShow Audio Decoder Video Codec: InterVideo NonCSS Video Decoder for Hauppauge CPU Type: Unknown - Typ - 1.9GHz Memory: 447 MB Motherboard: FX43V10 (Shuttle Inc) TV Card Model: Hauppage WinTV PVR PCI II (26xx) TV Card Type: Hardware TV Card Driver: 2.0.35.23348 Video Card Model: Via/s3g Unichrome Igp (64 MB) Video Card Driver: 6.14.10.212 Video Card Resolution: 800x600 Video Render Type: Overlay Audio Card Model: Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller Audio Card Driver: 5.10.0.5510 Synopsis:: I can play the videos fine outside of media portal with windows media player.
