I *think* I might be having a related problem. I have some 80 TV channels and a few radio channels over DVB-IP. When I delete all channels (TV channels -> clear; Radio channels -> clear), all database tables get purged correctly, EXCEPT the groupmap table - a few records remain, containing obsolete channel IDs! When I re-tune after that, I can't see the channels under "All channels" tab in TV channels (allthough I see them in the "Channels tab because I guess this one does not read from the groupmap table), I cant add channels to a new group, etc... BUT! There is another funny thing - if I purge the groupmap table manually and then re-tune channels from scratch, database looks OK, but the TV guide in Mediaportal does not show any channels(!) If I leave "dirty" groupmap table, the TV guide correctly lists all available channels... Steps to reproduce (at least for DVB-IP): 1. Tune some channels 2. Under TV channels -> All channels, sort them by name (not sure if this is necessary) 3. Under TV channels -> Channels, click on "clean" and confirm deletion of all channels 4. Check the groupmap table in mptvdb -> not empty (unlike the tunning and channel tables) 5. re-tune channels 6. Under TV channels -> Channels, there is a list of tuned channels, but under TV channels -> All channels there are no channes listed or there are only a few channels listed further steps to reproduce TV guide error 1. perform steps 1-4 above 2. manually purge groupmap table (TRUNCATE groupmap; or DELETE FROM groupmap in mysql console) 3. re-tune channels 4. TV channels -> All channels now correctly shows all channels 5. Launch MediaPortal, go to Watch TV -> TV guide - no channels are present and there are some skin errors (regardless of the skin) hope this helps in locating the problem...
