I'm having a problem where I can't fastforward or rewind certain MPG files. In fact, there is no timestamp at all. It just displays 0:00 on either side of the time bar, and the slider just shows that it's at the end of the clip. Everything plays normally, and if I use a mouse to click on a point on the time bar, it will take me to that point in the clip. However, there is no indication of time, and if I hit fastforward it simply skips to the very end of the clip and backs out to the menu.

I have only noticed this problem with certain MPG files. Specifically, it happens with some of the videos that I ripped from DVD to VOB files and then changed the extension from VOB to MPG. However, it doesn't happen with all of the MPG files that I've ripped in this fashion. For example, "MXC" and "Viva la Bam" work perfectly normally, while "Flight of the Conchords" and "The Office" are both plagued with the aforementioned problem.

Thanks,
Chris
