I have the 2.0 build of TV Series and I am trying to add in the show "Clone High, USA". The weird thing is that it can't find that show though there is clearly an entry in thetvdb.com. I've searched for "Clone"... nothing. "High"... nothing (even though there should be tons of results for the word "High"). I've even searched for "High," and "USA". I get no results on any of them. I know the word "Clone" should return Clone High as well as Star Wars: Clone Wars, but it doesn't return either. However, if I then search for the word "wars" it returns Star Wars: Clone Wars (as well as some other shows). It is definitely searching, but it seems to be selectively ignoring the three words I need to use.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I tried to search, but it seems like a hard problem to find the right words for.

Is there a way that I could add the series ID manually? I tried to just replace it, but it seems to be a field that can't be edited. I realize I could probably cut and paste all of this info manually from thetvdb.com, but its more of the problem bothering me rather than not wanting to do the work.

Does anyone else even have the show Clone High?

P.S. I've done this method both through automatic import and manual import. Neither worked.

I had the same problem with wildboyz.
You hve to look at the overview of the series. MediaPortal wasn't able to manage the the tags like <u>.
I deleted them and suddenly it worked.

Thanks for the replies. I actually don't log into tvdb, I just use default, but I also tried forcing english as the language and that didn't help.

As for the problem with the tags, my problem actually happens a bit earlier than that. It simply can't find the show when it pops up the window of shows to choose from.

If anyone wants to really help me out, I would appreciate it if someone simply tried to change a dummy file into something like "clone high.s01e01.avi" and then try to make their program search for it. It would help me figure out if it is a problem with the show or a problem with my particular installation. I have it in a folder like this "Clone High/Season 1/Clone High.S01E01.avi" (not that it should matter since I have tried just searching for the words and am not relying only on how the show is parsed).

    Thanks guys.

It worked for me with the filename clone.high.s01e01.avi. I don't think the extra period between clone and high really matters though. It could be a problem with your parsing expressions. Have you changed them from the stock ones?

Hmm, that is interesting. Thanks for checking that out. I have added parsing expressions, but the parsing isn't the problem, as it parses correctly. I guess its just one of those bugs. Thanks for the help guys but it has gone beyond being worth all this trouble. Its not that big of a problem, but I just thought I'd ask in case anyone had already encountered it and had a quick fix.
