    Hi !

I have recently been adding alot of movies to my HD. But after i installed the new IMDB+ scraper it dosnt seem to find my newly added movies. It dosnt pop up in the my movies importer menu like they used to. Its like they where never there.

    The movies affected are:

    The Guard (2011)
Fast and the Furious Fast five (2011)

I have similar names on other movies, and they seem to pop up just fine.

-anyone have the same problems? (recently installed the new scraper IMDB+ plugin)

    :D

Could be several things but it is not related to the IMDb+ script. Files will show up in the importer list before scripts are involved. Maybe the file extension for these films is not in the list of video file extensions? This is managed by MediaPortal, not Moving Pictures so check the "Video" tab in the MediaPortal config. You may also have accidentally ignored these files. You can in bulk unignore everything that has been ignored in the past under the gear icon on the importer panel.

    The Guard (2011)
Fast and the Furious Fast five (2011)

I just tried "The Guard.avi" which is the least ineffective filenameing you can use, and it properly matched with "The Guard (2011)" based on popularity ranking. Adding the year to the filename ensures a higher degree of matching to the right movie, but the best way would be to somehow add the IMDb tt-ID to the filename.

So like fforde suggested you might have the file ignored for some reason.

Another cause I come across from feedback, is that you might have a "The Guard.nfo" file to go along with the moviename, and it contains a wrong IMDb tt-ID and the default simply NFO support is enabled. The file will then be imported directly as the movie relating to that IMDb tt-ID, and if this is to a movie you already have it might even become a multi-part entry to that one, so it is even harder to spot. You can use the "File Info" option under the "Movie Manager" tab to find that out by scanning over all your movies. If you have a ton of movies, then the quickest way would be to use an SQLite database tool to search inside the movingpictures.db3 file, but unless you are comfortable with advanced methods like that, you should just do it manually.

Enhancements to the "Movie Manager" are planned to allow for more advanced filtering, to hopefully catch these cases easier.
