Can't get bbc i (stream) channels with Mp 1.2b (1 Viewer)

Hi as above i can't get the bbci (video streams ) with Mp 1.2 beta, auto scan doesn't show them up and when i do a manual scan i get good signal & quality but no new channels on that transponder, i had them okay till i had to do a reinstall.
I can get them okay with other tuning software

Any ideas

Hi Robert

This is a known issue - you'll have to add the channels manually in 1.2.0b. The channel parameters (ONID, TSID, SID, PMT PID) can be found in your scanning logs (tv.log, search for "Found Unknown:") - note that they're logged in hexidecimal format so you'll need to convert to decimal when you create the channel (Google "0x____ to decimal").

Sorry we weren't clear.

Scan wont work. You need to click add channel, then add tuning detail (the bits in the link above) then finally link the channels to your cards.

Looking to sort this for 1.2 but is a total manual process currently

So could any one post either a template or list of 1 channel from the BBCi streams settings in Mp snd then i know what to copy from KofS details

OK, now a bit more info might help us here improve MPTVServer, are you saying that FTR's "Argus" tvserver tuned all the channels correctly, including data ones, or something else.

I wouldn't be surprised if Argus works. The issue with MP TV Server is the removal of the audio/video based detection in 1.2.0x. For 1.2.0rc we either need to add that back (which is what I've been advocating) or add the specific service type that BBCi streams use (already known from jameson_uk's testing). Either way, 1.2.0b is crippled (@RobTi: and we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience! :sorry... but there should be a solution in 1.2.0rc. We knew that what we were doing in 1.2.0a/b was a test, and it hasn't entirely paid off. That is "beta" for you.
