Cant get <ondown> to work with a filmstrip control (1 Viewer)

Using MP 1.0.2

I cant for the life of me get <ondown> to work on a filmstrip control. The control losses focus but it doesnt go to the control in <ondown>. I searched around the forums abit and found a mention of <spinCanFocus> so iv used <spinCanFocus>no</spinCanFocus> but it hasnt helped at all.

Is this a bug in mediaportal? Is there a hack around this?
