I can't get some of the buttons on my MCE remote to work with this plugin.

Arrows, OK, Volume and Mute works. But buttons like Stop, Pause and Back does not.

I think i've tried every troubleshooting tip I could find on this forum, but still no luck

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    hey there and welcome.

The buttons you have working are the default MCE buttons that will work on all Windows apps.
To get the rest to work, you need to go to the MP configuration application and then go to remote/MCE and enable support for the MCE remote.

If this still doesn't work, then it may be that you have a non-standard MCE remote (made by Dell or something) which may need extra work.
Also, I'm going from memory here, so the locations may not be absolutely correct, but you should be able to work it out from there...

    Works!

    Thanks, it worked! :D

The reason I had disabled the default MCE remote plugin, was that I think i read somewhere that it could cause a conflict with the Replacement plugin. But I was quite tired when i was fiddling with the settings so I might be wrong

If you are using the replacement plugin (A separate installation in itself) then having the standard MCE support activated will cause some keys to register twice.

From what you say it doesn't sound like the replacment is installed.

Glad it all worked out :)

    Replacement is still installed...

And running(With the replacement drivers because i need Girder). But I'm not experiencing any problems so i will leave it like it is :)

If it's not broken don't fix it, right? :D

EDIT: Just to be on the safe side I've now disabled the replacement plugin, but still running the driver.

Thanks again. Consider my problem solved.
