Can't play any video file (1 Viewer)

I can't play any video file in media portal. I select them in MP and nothing happens. They play OK in WMP and MPC. I'm using ffdshow.
My video card supports Directx9 so I think it should work ok with VRM9.
I have the same problem when trying to watch TV.

In my other computer I don't have any problems with the same version of MP and the same codecs.

MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2.0
[Video Card: radeon 9600 pro (latest driver version)
Sound Card: soundmax integrated audio (asus k8v se deluxe)

I'm still stuck with this. I installed WMP11 to try something different but I still have the same problem. In WMP11 everything plays fine but not in mediaportal...

Need help!!

I removed MP and made a fresh install. Now it is working... don't ask me why

I just installed the last snapshot of mediaportal and it again doesn't work.
So I think the problem is related to the svn version (01-15-2007). With the version I installed yesterday (01-13-2007) I had the same problem.

I hope it will get fixed for the next stable version.

Hi there. I have had the same problem with recent SVNs. I also reverted back to a version of early Jan and now it works. I will try again installing a more recent svn over the weekend and look at the results.

Maybe you should post this thread in the "Quality Assurance" forum (it says explicitely "Post bugs you have found in 0.2.2.0 final or any SVN-Snapshot here.")

Please let me know if you make any progress on it

we need to place this problem in the bugs thread, I´ll do this now,

I own a ATI 9600 XT, maybe the problem is related to our card,

Hi,
kike_1974, can you attach your MediaPortal.log to the post?
It could be a problem with reclock detection, only mp.log will tell.
