Hi,
I got problems viewing some of blueray videos in tv-server. Codecs and setting should be exactly like in multiseat tv-client, but somehow multiseat client plays the blueray file, but tv-server standalone client don't
The file is in lan network storage, so both reads file from network, and both machines have 1Gb lan connection.
Mediainfo:
In working multiseat client when watched, the shift +1 say it uses: Default DirectSound Device, Enchanced Video Render, Microsoft -DTB-DVD Audio Decoder, Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder, LAV Splitter
I have renamed quicktime, itunes, handbrake, haali, ffmpeg, ffdshow, ac3filter folders from programfiles on both computer's to test that none of those codecs don't mess it. But still only client computer can show the video.
Only differences I can more imagine, is another has ATI, and another has NVIDIA graphic card.
What I have done allready,
1. Run all windows updates
2. Copy all registery setting from ffdshow/lavsplitter from working computer to tv-server.
3. Copy the whole programfiles\team mediaportal\mediaportal client\ folder from working computer.
4. Copy the whole setting folder from c:\programdata\team mediaportal\mediaportal client\ folder from working computer.
5. Run filemonitor and trying to figure what files and registery settings it try to read, with no success.
6. Checked that both have exact setting is codecs section.
7. Installed quicktime, didin't still work so removed.
8. Updated Lavfilters 0.23 to 0.51.3, didin't still work, so installed 0.23 back.
9. Updated ffdshow rev3749 to rev4422, didin't still work, so installed rev3749 back.
10. Drinked few gallons of coffee, while figurine whats wrong.
Hope someone founds the answer for me. Thanks in advance.
