Can't play DVD's (2 Viewers)

For some reason I cannot play DVD'd in Mediaportal.

When playing a DVD there is severe stutter or blocking or just a blank screen, the audio is also choppy or not there.

I have tried Cyberlink & WinDVD codecs also but get the same symptoms.

The DVD's all play fine in WMP, PowerDVD & NVidia media player.

This has caused a serious drop in WAF which I am paying heavily for so any help will be met with great appreciation and hero status for anyone you points to a solution.

Have you tried disabling DxVA in MediaPortal setup?

What I've found pretty useful recently for chasing this kind of errors is the "connect to remote graph" feature in Graphedit. Have you tried this?

Turning off DvXA had no effect.

I also had a look at the graph and it looked alright to me - see below - and let me know what you think.

Hmmm, looks ok indeed....

If you open the DVD via "Render media file" in Graphedit, how does it look like then?

When I open a .VOB file i get image2 below, I cannot open .IFO in Graphedit.

When I run TV i get image 1 below.

The graph in MediaPortal looks exactly the same for me.... but now I recall that I had a problem with the My DVD plugin - the DVD only plays if I go via My Videos. How did you start your DVD?

The same thing ahppens if I use the Play DVD menu item in home, or via the DVD menu on the MCE remote, or if I select the DVD drive in My Videos.

Hm, can't think of any more smart suggestions.... other than, like, "try another SVN" etc.... but I guess you've already done such things....

Yep - tried a number of SVN's over the last few weeks to no avail.

Thanks for your help though, the knowledge that your graph is the same helps narrow it down a bit.

I'll keep looking.
