Can't play mkv file with MPC 1.02 and XP (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.02
Windows Version: XP Pro SP3
MPEG2 Video Codec: Cyberlink 8
MPEG2 Audio Codec: Cyberlink 8
h.264 Video Codec: Cyberlink 8


Hi,

I can't play mkv file with MPC 1.02 (or 1.01) with my HTPC.
When I click on the file, I've got a popup screen that tell me MPC can't play the file because sound format : DTS and video forrmat : H.264.

Can anybody help me ?

Hi,

you need the Haali Media Splitter for the *.mkv files and ffdshow, coreAVC etc. for h.264 decoding
