I can't play Musicvideos (Yahoo) or Trailers anymore and wonder why????

This has been a problem for a long time and i have tried about 20 SVN-versions with the same result. Today I uninstalled Mediaportal completely and made a fresh install of the latest MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC3. But still not able to watch musicvideos or trailers. I only get error "unable to play....try again later" (or something).

My internet connection works and I can list all the musicvideos but not play them. Same thing with the movietrailers. They show up in the menu but I can't play them. What am I doing wrong? I know it has been working before.

I can play them but my problem is that they stutter heavily, I have reported this a lot but I am the only one having this problem what I find strange because I have a very fast internet connection...

I had this problem also, but solved it by installing a new flash player - see here
Fantastic plugin, and works fine on my outfit

Problem is that my net connection is a bit on the slow side, and fullscreen video is just really choppy.

I would like to have these videos play in a somewhat smaller window to improve performance if possible. Can this be done?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I float betweem PMIII and Aqua skins, and the videos play fine in the small (read tiny) screen when I exit full screen, but are really dodgy in full screen mode.

Solved this problem by installing a new flash player - now on version 9.28. I routinely use Firefox as a browser, and had a current flash player plug in for it, but not for IE. New download and install and voila!

Installed a new flash player but it did not solve my problem. Do I really need a flash player to watch the online musicvideos??

Is there any specific configuration needed to watch the videos/trailers?? Maybe something in the movie-config? Codecs??

Can't understand why this suddenly stoped working?

Still having this problem but now I know there's nothing wrong with the MP SVN-versions. When installing on another machine musicvideos/trailers are working great.

But something in my system is preventing MP from playing the musicvideos and I can' figure out what it is?

In the logs I can see the following. Maybe it has something to do with it? I believe the ID number is the number of the video I try to play?

No translation found for id 104734

    Anyone knows what this means?

That error doesn't affect playing videos. That just means that a certain string (be it a label, button, whatever) doesn't have any translations associated with it. Can you post your logs when trying to play a video?
