MediaPortal Version: 1.4.5
MediaPortal Skin: (default)
Windows Version: Windows 7 x64
1. TV Card: Genpix Skywalker 2
1. TV Card Type: DVB-S
1. TV Card Driver: BDA driver

I'm running the TV Server on a headless (server) machine and it scanned my DVB-S channels and everything worked great. However, when I try to play any channel on a remote PC (using MediaPortal as a client), I receive an error:

"Unable to play: stream2.0"

I've taken a look at my logs and I notice this:
Code:
2011-03-20 18:18:33.399398 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: TSReaderPlayer: Failed vmr9 not connected
2011-03-20 18:18:33.403399 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: TSReaderPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed

I've searched on the forums and I'm still stumped. I'm not sure how to test this outside of MediaPortal so I don't know what the problem can be. I know my DVB-S tuner card is working because I was able to scan my channels and it appears to be tuning fine (and it tunes fine in other applications).

I've attached a copy of my logs if anybody could please help...

    Looks like you've set the renderer to VMR9 somehow... should be set to EVR in Vista/Win7 you'll find it in the main media portal codec settings.

    Also try installing SAF5 to ensure that you have the right codecs installed. LiveTV in win7 should use the MS DTV Codecs for video and FFDshow for audio.
