It is more than likely the sample rate of your card and it will be resampling everything to this rate. As far as players are concerned WAV files are just raw audio. If you PC starts changing these 1s and 0s (eg. resampling) it will no longer come through as bit-perfect and you get whitenoise as your amp also assumes it is just audio coming through.</p><p></p><p>This is nearly always down to hardware and/or drivers. There is a good chance your soundcard simply can not output the audio without messing with it.</p><p></p><p>If you want a fair simpler solution (IMHO anyway) then re-rip the DTS as pure DTS files.
