Hi:

I have the MP 1.6 installed in Windows 7 x64, and PoweerScheduler is set to reboot PC at 18:40 certain days.
The thing is PC wakes up, but doesn't reboot.

I upload TVlog and paste here the relevant lines.
It seems that reboot is prevented because EPG is grabbing at the same time, I'm not sure.

"Inspecting reboot" at the time I entered appears several times in the log, always inspecting but never rebooting.

These are some lines of the TVlog:

I can't find a solution for this.
I disabled the option in Power scheduler: Do not put the computer to sleep while grabbing EPG, just in case it had something to do with the reboot issue, but nothing has changed. Pc never reboots.

I would appreciate very much some help.

Hi.
Could someone give me a hand on this, please?.
I would like to program a reboot of my HTPC now and then, but I can't do it with Powerscheduler (I've attached a log).

I have just downloaded MCE StandbyTool, but I'm not sure it works with MP, and anyway I can't see in it a schedule to program the reboots on a precise time, just options to reboot once a day, a week, a month.

Thank you if someone has tried Powerscheduler to reboot the PC and could do me the favour of explaining the way it must be done.

A reboot is not performed until PowerScheduler knows the system is idle. Your PC did not reboot, since it was busy at 18:40 (and following). You configured PS to respect the "notepad" process as an activity preventing standby. So PS considers the system busy as long as "notepad" is running.

Michael

PS: I recommend using the plug&play mode and not activating the "PS forces standby" option in the advanced tab.

Thank you very much.
The notepad issue was the thing that prevented the reboot.
I fixed it thanks to you.

By the way, the plug & play mode doesn't work with my PC. There's always some audio driver or something like that that prevents normal hibernation.
