Can't record or timeshift (1 Viewer)

Hi i am hoping someone can help me, I am loving MP but i Can't get timeshift or recording working and it seems to be all tied to errors with the stream buffer sink source and unable to connect to mpg2 pin

Normal tv watching is fine but when trying to start time shift or record gets these errors

I am running Vista 32 and I am able to record and time shift fine in media centre using Microsoft codecs for video and sound but how do you tell MP what stream filters to use?

Should I / Can I install a third party stream filter?

Is there someway to diagnose if MP is getting access errors when trying to use the Microsoft stream buffer?

Are you able to reinstall the Microsoft filter?

I just Can't seem to find any troubleshooting on my problems running Dvico Dusion dual 4 Tuner AMD x2 4400 2gb ram latest version of MP and tearing hair out!

Please if someone can provide any hints tips about these filters, I Can't even find how you can see what filters and codecs are installed on my system in XP you were able to see these in device manager under sound video controllers but they are not there in vista

Also these are the errors coming up in the front end in the log file i was getting unable to connect to sink source so it's as if it Can't see the installed filter i tried using graph edit but Can't find the microsoft stream buffer sink filter

it is pretty hard to find out, how we can help here. Please
1. use punctation marks. Its pretty hard to read your post.
2. use the Controlcenter to enter your System specs.
3. attach your full logs to the post.

Ok so in my first post is all my setup info.. Here are the logs.

When I go into Media Portal setup and enable the auto timeshift option (30 min) when i go into my tv i get this error:

I can upload these log files is required.

At this point I can go back into settings and untick auto timeshift and then I can still go back to my tv and watch tv

But if I tick timeshifting option while im watching live tv i still get the same error but now I cant watch tv at all and anytime I do i get the error Faied to start TV Unable to connect to MPG2 pin

recorder.log file is the same info..

Now if i try to record a program in my tv, tv feed disappears and trying to start tv again gets the same mpg2 error again

sometimes I can go back and change codecs and change back again and I can watch TV again, sometimes I cant watch tv at all now and get this error all the time so i have to uninstall and reinstall to get tv working again

Well issue all fixed now.

The problem was access rights if I open media portal as administrator recording and timeshift works fine.

So I tried reinstalling as admin that didn't work if I tried to run as normal user but that's ok I can tick the run as admin option in properties, disable uac so I don't get popups and it's all good.

And also to mention my normal vista account is an admin account and vista is a clean install so I don't know why noone else is having this issue?
