    So, I'm migrating from WMC to MP and have mostly wav files from ripped CDs. I have everything under E:\Music\[Album Artist]\[Album]\[Track Number]
    [Track Name].

    When it scans through the Music folder, it doesn't seem to pick much up....Track Name is fairly reliable, all other fields are very unreliable...

    Any ideas?

    Also, once it does work out the tags correctly, how do I apply them so I can look at them in library view?

    Cheers

    Rich

    Interesting. That should work.
    it should take:

    Artist = Arctic Monkeys
    Album = Whatever people ....
    Track = 02
    Title = I Bet you look ...

    From the picture above tough it looks like you haven't selected a song.
    Please select some songs by either clicking on them or ctrl+a and then do a Ctrl+f.

    as i said, it shouold work as expected.
    Once you press apply the changes are applied and you just save them using ctrl+S

    Just to report I never actually got this working as I remembered I had a license for Tag and Rename which did the job. The only thing I can think of is that doing this revealed several (now fixed) exceptions to the rule E:\Music\[Album Artist]\[Album]\[Track Number] [Track Name] in my library, so I don't know if that somehow threw MPTagThat off course.

    Cheers
