Can't stream other profiles than "direct" (1 Viewer)

as I mentioned in the monster-thread before, I can't stream movies/tv with other profiles than the "direct"-one. The error-message from the "Moving-Pictures" stream:

Please - can somebody help me? My operation-system is Windows Vista Ultimate. MediaPortal with TV works great - at the moment

Please post your config.xml file.
Seems like a misconfiguration in the transcoder settings

Ok, from your post i see you tried with idProfile=2 which should be "mpeg2 (320x200)".

Do you really have the mencoder.exe file installed in the path "C:\program files\mencoder" ?

Maybe that's the problem !?

Mencoder is NOT installed by the installer.

You have to install it by your own

Hm... I installed it by my own and created the paths according to your plugin's default settings. Look at the pictures Mencoder-Fileversion is 0.9.0.0

Hi there,

I too am having the same problem.

Why are there two locations configured for mencoder in the pluging transcoding screen?

I have played safe and put the mencoder.exe file into both locations.

"Direct" works fine - I can watch live TV from within VLC.

I modified one of the profiles and changed the "{0}" to be a AVI file - this streamed fine.

When I try and stream using a "non direct" proifile, mencoder tries to display a message (that Windows tries to hide) - Its stating it is trying to connect to my TV server (using its IP address - everything is installed on a single PC) using port 554?
